a large double bedroom and a modern bathroom.

"Appartamento nel Borgo" takes its name from the oldest street of Greve in Chianti where our vacation apartment is located, just two minutes walk from Piazza Matteotti, the main square of Greve, and two minutes walk from the SITA bus stop for Florence.

Our self-catering holiday apartment is on the first floor (American second floor) and accommodates 2 persons in a double room plus one adult or two children on the sofabed in the kitchen-living room. It has a large kitchen-living room and a modern bathroom with shower and clothes washer.

A flat screen TV and WiFi connection are provided.

There is a small balcony opening from the living room on the back of the house. The balcony is large enough for two people to dine in the fresh air.

There is parking on the street nearby (with a bit of luck) and a parking building about 10 minutes walk away.

"Appartamento nel Borgo" lies midway on the Chiantigiana highway, the scenic route from Florence to Siena so popular with those making a bicycle tour in Chianti. We are just around the corner from the road and you will be able to park your bikes securely and out of the weather in our entry hall. In addition, the country circuits from Greve to Badia a Passignano or from Greve to Radda via Lucolena also begin here.

We had a wonderful time in the Tuscany. The apartment was very nice, clean and just perfect. We really enjoyed staying there. Patricia and her sons were very lovely and always helpful and friendly. It was a real pleasure to meeting them.

With the bicycles everything went well, too. Marco showed us on a map were we could go and we almost managed to see the entire area around.

All in all, wonderful holidays - just too short.

The apartment costs 58 euros per night for two persons for stays of three nights or more.

Stays of a single night cost 72 euros for two persons.

Third and fourth persons cost an additional 10 euros each.

Electricity and heating (if required) are included in the price.

To confirm your reservation, we require a deposit of 30% of the total cost to be sent by bank transfer. This deposit is forfeit if you cancel less than 30 days before arrival. The balance should be paid in cash upon arrival.
