"Le Pialle" holiday rental apartment for two guests in the Chianti region of Tuscany
Our house, Le Pialle, lies on a hill 2.5 km to the north of Greve in Chianti.
The house is situated about 200 meters from the Chiantigiana, the scenic road SS. 222, leading through the Chianti region from Florence to Siena.

Le Pialle is surrounded by hills with vineyards, meadows, woodland and olive groves. All the surrounding land belongs to the house. The villa, where we live, reveals traces of its 14th century origin. There is the independent apartment connected with the main body of the house. This apartment is on ground floor and has an independent entrance.

The apartment consists of a living/dining room with kitchen unit and fireplace, one bedroom with two beds, and a bathroom with shower.
In addition, the apartment has a small private garden with garden furniture.
There is a pergola and a typical large Tuscan garden by the house. A terrace overlooking pine trees is available for guests' use.
We live a country life-style with animals (horses, hens, pets, etc.) quietness, and production of vegetables, honey and eggs. As we live in the vicinity, we are always at our guests' disposal to help to easily reach the house, for information, advice etc.
Prices
Minimum stay three nights. The apartment costs 60 euros per night or the discounted rate of 400 euros per week. Taxes, fire wood, electricity are included.
From the Autostrada from Bologna or Rome, exit at "Firenze nord" or "Firenze Certosa" and take the famous Chiantigiana road (S.S. 222) in the direction of Greve. After about twenty kilometers, you'll find the village Greti. Just after Greti turn left.
Access by bus
Our house is in a strategic position between Firenze (20 km) and Siena (30 km) in the heart of Chianti. It is a country house but very well connected to Firenze by public transport. The SITA bus stop is at about 300 meters from the house. The trip to Firenze takes 50 minutes.
