Our Tuscany vacation rental accommodations consist of a restored Tuscan farm house (casa colonica) 6 (+1) guests and a restored barn 3 (+1) guests, located in the country, five minutes walk from the attractive Tuscan hill town of Panzano in Chianti. Panzano is easily accessible by car and bus from Florence (32 km) and by car from Siena (32 km). The views are stupendous - nearby one sees Vignamaggio and on a clear day Fiesole is visible in the distance.

The farm house consists of two storeys and accommodates 6 (+1) guests. Downstairs is the large kitchen with its original Tuscan fireplace. The kitchen joins the dining room through a brick arch. The living room and the office house a nice piano and a large library in cherry wood. The Casa Colonica was restored fifteen years ago and preserves a rare warm atmosphere with its kilim carpets on terracotta tiled floors, library, flowered bathrooms and windows opening onto the informal garden and wonderful views.
On the first floor, a double bedroom has its own large bathroom with bathtub. The bedroom with two large single beds, also on the first floor, has a bathroom with shower. The office near the double room contains a sofa which can be expanded into an extra bed.
On the ground floor, next to the dining room, there is a comfortable bedroom, with two single beds, that has access to a small bathroom with sink and toilet just at the top of the stairs. The bedroom has a window door that opens onto the garden.

A large, beautifully restored barn for 3 (+1) guests. The floor area is 150 sq m. The main bedroom (with double bed) is on the mezzanine floor, and there is a further bedroom with a single bed. On the ground floor there is a fully-equipped kitchen and a living room. The apartment provides a warm, comfortable atmosphere and is furnished in typical Tuscan country style. There are two bathrooms, a small fireplace and a large verandah with a panoramic view. The swimming pool is just a few steps away and provides a splendid panoramic view of the peaceful Tuscan countryside.
We request a 30% deposit paid by bank transfer at the time of confirmation of your reservation. This deposit is forfeited for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival. The balance should be paid upon arrival in cash.
How to get to Pianicaldi

Pianicaldi located very near Panzano in Chianti, a small town on Highway 222 from Florence through Greve to Siena. This scenic road is known as the Chiantigiana.
From Bologna and the north: - exit the A1 at Firenze Certosa and take the road through Ferrone to Highway 222 and continue on to Panzano. - exit the A1 at Firenze Sud and take Highway 222 in the direction of Greve as far as Panzano.
From Florence itself, it is also possible to take the road through Impruneta.
From Rome and the south, exit the A1 at Incisa Val d'Arno, go towards Figline and then drive to Greve in Chianti to Highway 222 and then left (south) to Panzano.
After reaching Panzano from the direction of Florence, just after the small main square with the fountain, turn left at the sign indicating Cennatoio - Lamole - Casa al Monte. After 400 m, this narrow road turns into a dirt road. Continue straight on and take the first downhill road on the left which is sign-posted "Pianicaldi".
