Die Straße der Burgen ist ein Projekt zur Tourismusförderung, das von der Gemeinde Gaiole im Chianti ins Leben gerufen wurde. Die Idee zu diesem Projekt basiert auf der Tatsache, dass die Gegend erstaunlich reich an Burgen, befestigten Bauernhäusern und Abteien ist. Die Kommune hat dafür sechs verschiedene Routen festgelegt, auf denen sich die Architektur, Geschichte und Gegenwart des Lebens in diesem Teil des Chianti auf angenehme und romantische Art und Weise nacherleben und entdecken lassen. |
