"Ancora del Chianti", immersed in Nature among grape vines, cypresses and olive trees, and with a youthful and welcoming atmosphere, is an ideal base for your visit to Tuscany. The farmstead that houses the Bed and Breakfast "Ancora del Chianti" is located on the summit of a hill only 5 km from Greve in Chianti, with a wonderful view of the Greve valley and Florentine Tuscany. The house is surrounded by a large flower gaden and the ambience is informal.

Laura welcomes our guests and attends to every detail of their stay. She personally decorated the rooms and loves to paint watercolours of the flowers in her garden. Every morning she prepares a hearty breakfast buffet on the shaded terrace.
Filippo is passionate about the land the life in the open air. At Ancora he devotes himself to the vines and olives.
Maya, our friendly dog, will happily play with you and accompany you on walks through the countryside.
At Ancora, we speak Italian, English, French, German and Spanish, and we promote sustainable tourism.
Ancora del Chianti Bed & Breakfast
The Bed and Breakfast accommodations consist of double and twin bedrooms with private bathroom, all different from one another in décor and size. The rooms are all on the ground floor with direct access to a large garden where tables and chairs are provided for our guests to enjoy Nature, tranquility and the view. Every morning we serve a hearty buffet breakfast on the shaded terrace.

Our prices encourage longer stays and we offer a discount for stays of a week in the Bed & Breakfast.
Ancora del Chianti Apartment
The apartment hosts 2 to 5 persons, and has been restored recently in Tuscan style, with wooden beams and terracotta floors. It is located on the ground floor with an independent entrance and direct access to the garden. Guests have a reserved area with table and chairs at their disposal, to enjoy the peaceful panorama.
Our prices encourage longer stays.

FROM FLORENCE: From the A1 motorway, take the exit Firenze Sud and just after the toll gate, turn right and take SS 222 to Sienna, Greve in Chianti. Pass the villages of Strada in Chianti and Chiocchio and once you get to Greti turn left into a steep road and follow the "Ancora del Chianti" sign which is 20.7 km from the A1 exit. Later the road become unpaved (just reduce speed) and after approx 2 km you will find Ancora del Chianti signs again, turn left. Another sign will mark the last 400 m, turn right here. After a group of houses you will find our house with an outside staircase, climb the stairs and ring the bell on the column. Welcome!
FROM SIENNA: On State Road SS 222, take Castellina in Chianti - Florence direction. After Greve in Chianti, at Greti, follow "Ancora del Chianti" signs. Welcome!
