Podere Albereto offers two self-catering vacation apartments in a recently restored granary. Each apartment has its own well-equipped kitchen and its own bathroom (with shower). The kitchen has a dining table, refrigerator, electric oven, gas hob and all utensils needed for cooking, plus a TV.
Linen is changed once per week. Guests share the gardens, the barbecue and the swimming pool. The property is fenced and secure, and cars can be parked inside the gate. Heating in winter is provided.
The owners live in the house next door and are at your disposal for help of any kind.
Our vacation apartments
Apartment Iris (5 persons) (60 sqm) Price: 110 euros per day, 770 euros per week. This apartment is located on the ground floor. It has two bedrooms (one double, one with two single beds), a kitchen, a bathroom and an independent entrance.
Apartment Giaggiolo (2 + 1 persons) (45 sqm) Price: 75 euros per day, 525 euros per week. This apartment is located on the first floor has its independent entrance from the external staircase. It has a bedroom furnished with a large double bed and a double sofa bed can be added in the large dining-living room. It has a kitchen and bathroom.

Podere Albereto is situated 13 km from Florence, on the side of the hill named Monte Masso (372 m) and overlooking the valley of San Polo in Chianti. The farm is surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and forests, with 300 m of private road separating the house from the local road. The estate comprises the main farm house and from the granary which has been restored recently and now consists of two vacation apartments. We provide a swimming pool, a panoramic terrace, the gardens around the buildings, and a barbecue, with plenty of tables, sunbathing beds, deck chairs.
For the lovers of country walks: from the olive groves, you can access walking paths of one, two, or six hours, with panoramic views of Chianti and of Florence.
The town of San Polo is 2 km away and you can find a restaurant, a bar, two small supermarkets, a post office and a bank. There is a bus stop 1300 m from the house. This serves the Florence city bus line (ATAF, Number 49) and the pullman service (SITA) to Florence and Greve. In about an hour you can reach Siena, Lucca, Pisa, Arezzo or San Gimignano by car. The small centres of Greve, Panzano and Castellina in Chianti can be reached by car in less than half an hour.
Take the motorway exit Firenze-sud and the first exit in the direction of Greve. About 2 km after passing through the town of Strada on the highway 222, take the turnoff to San Polo. About 1 km before San Polo, take the road that goes to Monte Masso: you will find us on the slopes of that hill which looks out on the town of San Polo and towards the nearby Pieve di Rubbiana.
